Songtext von THE BOTTOM

I had a reason, I felt it in my bones I lost my grip and the darkness took a hold of me Can't breathe I had the best of intentions till the fall A downward spiral is as far as I could go, so deep Down so deep Buried underneath the stone A name without meaning A life with no feeling Left to die alone With a body still breathing A soul that was bleeding I was dead and gone Lost and forgotten Living like a ghost With no hope of crossing over I was down in a hole Till I climbed my way back from the bottom I had a purpose, I let it go to hell I used up every excuse to sabotage myself I blame no one else And all the lies that I've been told A kiss and a promise This beautiful garden Turned into catacombs With a body still breathing My heart is still beating I was dead and gone Lost and forgotten Living like a ghost With no hope of crossing over I was down in a hole Till I climbed my way back from the bottom Back from the bottom, oh I was dead and gone Lost and forgotten Living like a ghost With no hope of crossing over I was down in a hole Till I climbed my way back from the bottom Ooh, whoa I was down in a hole Till I climbed my way back from the bottom Ooh, back from the bottom Back from the bottom
