Songtext von Butter

She feels like butter Melting away by her own body heat She feels like water Sifting through holes made by her own teeth She feels like a raincheck never been cashed She feels like a hit song short of a catch Her oven door is open but the latch seems to be broken She needs a hit A mix of self esteem and bliss She needs a fix A mix of self esteem and bliss She feels kinda useless Seemingly unaware of her talents She feels like a treasure chest Empty of all its contents She needs a nice cupboard To house all the goodies that have been boxed up She needs a sensor light that turns on when she's all messed up Step up to the table and put an end to this fable I think it's time To gather shoes and socks and take a hike You and I Can stay here and look up at the night
