Songtext von Control

Here's a wild thought that just popped into head Maybe God knows more about me more than I ever did When he says to walk tall and I wanna sit down Why is it so hard to get my butt up off the ground Seem like a crazy thing to say Don't wanna hand over the reins Maybe I need a little faith And if You're who you say you are The God who holds a billion stars Then why am I still fighting for control? If You're who You say You are Then I should trust you with my heart and soul Man it's hard to do Jesus take the wheel Said it so many times While I tell You where to go and try to keep You in line Afraid that You're wrong Leaning into my doubt Are you really big enough that you can work all this out? And if You're who you say you are The God who holds a billion stars Then why am I still fighting for control? If You're who You say You are Then I should trust you with my heart and soul Man it's hard to do (To give it all to you) I've been leaning on my understanding And I hate it, hate where I've been standing And if You're who you say you are The God who holds a billion stars Then why am I still fighting for control? If You're who You say You are Then I should trust you with my heart and soul Man it's hard to do (To give it all to you)
