Songtext von Rise Up

I see the grief that's coming to creation I feel the reaching fingers of decay I know the grave is not my destination For He'll return and carry me away When that resurrection time is here I'm gonna rise and meet Him in the air Rise up Cause I've got a reservation Rise up To meet the Lord Rise up Rise to that occasion in the sky I'm gonna rise There was a day that I can well remember When Jesus took away my fear of death And put a hope within my heart forever And in that hope I'll forever rest When I hear that final trumpet sound I'm gonna prove that death can't hold me down Rise up Cause I've got a reservation Rise up To meet the Lord Rise up Rise to that occasion in the sky I'm gonna rise On that first resurrection day Jesus took away the sting of death Breaking the chains and conquering the grave And just line Him we're gonna rise up Rise up Cause I've got a reservation Rise up To meet the Lord Rise up Rise to that occasion in the sky I'm gonna rise
