Songtext von Leaving It All Behind

Drivin' down the road from New Mexico I think I's headed down 66 I got a heart full of woman and six pack to go sittin' next to me on seat Way back behind me was a pretty little women of blessed the ties that bind She had me in a knoose but I finally broke loose And I'm leavin' it all behind leavin' it all behind ICC is a checkin' on me but I think I can make it thru With eight forward gears and an over-drive ain't nothin' much that I can do Turn up the radio turn down the heat and hear them big wheels whine Easy and free they're a carrying me and I'm leavin' it all behind leavin' it all behind Thinkin' back on it you know she wasn't half bad And I'll always remember the good times that we had But to understand a truck drivin' man you gotta know how he thinks The only thing he loves is a runnin' the road and stop somewhere for a drink So all you women before you fall for a man who's the movin' kind Keep prepared to lose when it looks to you Like he's leavin' it all behind leavin' it all behind
