Songtext von Cage

You drink a pint just to start your day And excellent way to build your cage Afternoon rolls around too soon So you drink some more just to get you through When you're building your cage Work is over as you finish your lock As you close the bar at 2:00 It's a crying shame, and who's to blame Your brothers and sisters Or dad and mom for bringing you up wrong I can't believe you can't see the signs What is going on inside your mind You're looking down and not ahead The way you're going you'll soon be dead Can't you see just how far you've gone And how many people you've dragged along When you're building your cage Building your cage Only so much more to say Before you go and throw it all away When you're building your cage Building your cage I hope you heard what I said I don't want to see you winding up dead It's a crying shame, and who's to blame Your brothers and sisters Or dad and mom for bringing you up wrong I can't believe you can't see the signs What is going on inside your mind You've thrown it all away
