Songtext von I Received The News

I received the news today, they said a friend I love so dearly Couldn’t bear the pain no more For his soul was deeply wounded, and they called me To come to Bethany and help restore When I arrived in that small village Many voices told me it was far too late For it had already been four days Since death had taken the place of his faith Jesus wept for you and says this now Roll, roll away that stone Come, come out from the grave I’ve come to bring your joy to life again I’ve come to resurrect your faith When I arrived in that small village Many voices told me it was far too late For it had already been four days Since death had taken the place of his faith Jesus wept for you and says this now Roll, roll away that stone Come, come out from the grave I’ve come to bring your joy to life again I’ve come to resurrect your faith Jesus wept for you and says this now Roll, roll away that stone Come, Lazarus, rise and walk! I’ve come to bring your joy to life again I’ve come to resurrect your faith I’ve come to resurrect your faith Roll, roll away that stone Come, come out from the grave I’ve come, I’ve come to bring your joy to life again I’ve come to resurrect your faith I’ve come to resurrect your faith
