Songtext von Winter '39

Winter '39, men in war Do you realise, '39? Our brave soldiers, they never die, What a big sacrifice, '39 We have a fight, both sides in close combat, The enemy approaches, behind our lines Shooting never against the sun You never know, when the time has come Saviour, Suomi auto-machinegun Why lord of war has to be so cruel To show a real enemy inside Killing, hating, destroying Shooting, blasting, burning Hate growing inside the warriors mind Burning his soul to pieces All that he can think is saving his family That's a good reason to fight to death War puts something different to peoples minds You have to kill or be killed Only hate and anger Keeps warriors strong and brave
