Verse 1:
Have mercy upon me, oh God,
according to Thy loving kindness.
Blot out all of my transgressions,
cleanse me from within.
Wash me Lord from mine iniquities,
and cleanse form me from my sins.
I know I sometimes stray too far from You, Lord,
take me back, back again.
Chorus:
Give me a clean heart,
so I may serve You, Lord.
Give me a clean heart,
(Lord, I truly need for You to dwell in me).
Verse 2:
Speak that my soul may hear from You,
calm every doubt, doubt and fear.
Hold me Lord, in Your arms is safety and protection,
and dry up every tear.
You make me clean, in all the glories Thine,
You touch my heart, my soul, and mind;
took away all the things that weren't like You,
and cleanse me Lord through and through.
Chorus
Vamp:
Wash me, make me, use me,
and renew the right spirit.
Hold me, mold me, control me,
and renew the right spirit.
