Songtext von Idols of The Yore

Standing tall in the heart of forest Are the idols of the yore Kissed by cold winds wrinkled faces Wooden eyes that see the past Once almighty now forgotten Covered by the fallen leaves Always waiting for tomorrow But forever in the past Simulacrum of the ancient gods That once ruled this world, now torn apart Born in fire, born for burning But cold ice is in their eyes In the forests silence waiting For the human sacrifice Standing tall in the heart of forest Are the idols of the yore Kissed by cold winds wrinkled faces Wooden eyes that see the past Once almighty now forgotten Covered by the fallen leaves Always waiting for tomorrow But forever in the past Simulacrum of the ancient gods That once ruled this world, now torn apart Born in fire, born for burning But cold ice is in their eyes In the forests silence waiting For the human sacrifice Dead but breathing, life denial Is the aim of Idols lives Cold as ice and hot as fire No one hears their silent cries Hear them now? Words of silence Carry mind away in astral dimensions
