Songtext von A Promise

As the sunlight's coming down I can feel the warmth is fading There is no one left around To help me find what I've been searching And it's hard to wear the crown If the world we crave is failing I am left here all alone While I try to gather strength within I don't know how we've come to this What have made us so far away I don't know how we'll get there But I know we will meet again I promise I will find a way Back to where we're meant to stay I promise this is gonna end Don't you fear, just take my hand I promise that will come the day When we'll finally be free And if we get lost again We will stay together till the very end of time When the skies turn to grey And the path ahead is bending There is no more words to say Just the echoes of your name that I've been carrying I don't know how we've come to this What have made us so far away I don't know how we'll get there I can see our fate that awaits I promise I will find a way I promise I will find a way I promise I will find a way I promise I will find a way I'll find a way I'll find a way We will stay together till the very end of time
