Songtext von Illusion

Chasing shadows in a golden hall Building empires just to watch them fall Counting coins while the soul goes dry A velvet curtain pulled across the eye The heavy weight of what we try to hold Trading the spirit for the shine of gold Illusion The shimmer on the desert sand Illusion The water slipping through my hand Illusion Collecting ghosts and silver threads Illusion The hunger that is never fed
