Songtext von January Eyes

You put away your summer clothes Did you trade them for a winter coat? I can't break the ice Between you and I We didn't ever want to change But I guess we couldn't stop the rain Oh, where are you now That it's cold? You felt like summertime Like whiskey over ice Fire in the sky You felt like mid-July To these January eyes There's nothing really left to say The words are written on your face And I see it now The stars are out Midnight's close to closing time After dark in glowing light One last shot to you and I Let's say goodbye You felt like summertime Like whiskey over ice Fire in the sky You felt like mid-July To these January eyes
