Songtext von First Love

She was my very first love She was my heaven above She was my angel on high She was my reason to cry Been counting moments too long Feelings that linger till dawn Can’t make no sense of it now There ain’t no easy way out And I never wanted to show how I feel Thought someday, maybe you’d know my love was real It was the best time of my life I never needed to try It wasn’t that hard to do Because all I wanted then was you So you came and followed me down The road led straight out of town Stars shining Moon lit your face In that moment I longed to stay And I never wanted to show how I feel Thought someday, maybe you’d know my love was real
