Songtext von Letter to Laura

First love We are only seventeen Not grown up yet I’ll write you when the music plays Somewhere along the way you kind of caught me by surprise No one ever told me about same gender butterflies Now it’s you that keeps me from thinking straight But to see you move away was such a heavy weight First love We are only seventeen, not grown up yet I’ll write you when the music plays Just ‘cause you are gone doesn’t mean I will forget I’ll write you when the music plays (Music plays) All that I have left is this music box that still plays our tune Afternoons Do you recall them, too? When no one watched you put your hand in mine We somehow knew we’d crossed a secret line We could have made this world a better place It’s okay to fall in love with the one you fall in love with
