Songtext von Don’t Wanna See

She woke up very early While daylight was dark gray The kiss goodbye to sleepy children It was just another day The rods and traintracks swallowed your dreams And one more day it faded and it was done And the bumps had time again The sad light of the night showed everyone Her life was not a dream But society didn’t see it Still don’t wanna see Her life was not a dream But society didn’t see it Still don’t wanna see They don’t wanna see Her man has long since left And his fingers pointed at her to constrain And his mouth sought to hurt her And his eyes fixed her with disdain Every step was a different battle And everyday was an enemy in a war Life was consumed like a glass of water Until she couldn’t take it anymore Her life was not a dream But society didn’t see it Still don’t wanna see Her life was not a dream But society didn’t see it Still don’t wanna see They don’t wanna see
