Songtext von Night of the Damned

Beneath the pale Moon's eerie light Spirits wail through endless night Shadows whisper, cold and thin The nightmare's curse shall now begin In the forest, dark and deep Where restless souls eternally weep A curse of old, from silence creeps To haunt the dreams of those who sleep In the night of the damned Haunted by a spectral hand Eternal fear, forever grand In the night of the damned Tales of woe and whispered dread Of those who walk among the dead A banshee’s wail, a phantom's cry Echoes through the midnight sky From graves they rise, in death's disguise Their hollow eyes see through the lies A chilling touch, a ghostly prize Awaits beneath the moonlit skies In the night of the damned Haunted by a spectral hand Eternal fear, forever grand In the night of the damned In the night of the damned Haunted by a spectral hand Eternal fear, forever grand In the night of the damned In the night of the damned Haunted by a spectral hand Eternal fear, forever grand In the night of the damned When dawn arrives, the phantoms fade Back to their eternal shade But as the Sun sets once again The night of the damned will rise, my friend From graves they rise, in death's disguise Their hollow eyes see through the lies A chilling touch, a ghostly prize Awaits beneath the moonlit skies From graves they rise, in death's disguise Their hollow eyes see through the lies A chilling touch, a ghostly prize Awaits beneath the moonlit skies From graves they rise, in death's disguise A cursed soul with naught to lose Seeking peace but finding pain In the endless night they shall remain
