Songtext von Sick!

Woke up this morning, feeling out of place Colors fading, world’s a hazy space Heartbeat racing, can't catch my breath Thoughts like shadows, dancing with death Is it the fever or the weight of the world? Everything’s spinning, like a carousel twirled In this madness, searching for the light In the middle of the night, gotta hold on tight I'm sick! But I'm fighting to break free Sick! This storm won't get the best of me Sick! With a fire burning in my soul Sick! But I'm gonna take control Mirror, mirror, staring back at me Who’s this stranger, who could it be? Tears like raindrops, falling from the sky In this darkness, I'm learning to fly Is it the pain or the struggle within? A battle raging, can I ever win? But in this chaos, I find my strength In every heartbeat, in every length I'm sick! But I'm fighting to break free Sick! This storm won't get the best of me Sick! With a fire burning in my soul Sick! But I'm gonna take control I'm sick! But I'm fighting to break free Sick! This storm won't get the best of me Sick! With a fire burning in my soul Sick! But I'm gonna take control In the eye of the storm, I see a light Guiding me through, gonna be alright With every breath, I reclaim my fight Rising from the ashes, into the night I'm sick! But I'm gonna take control So here I stand, though the world’s askew With every heartbeat, I find the truth Sick! But my spirit’s soaring high In this battle, I’ll touch the sky
