Songtext von Never Was

Mom says it's time to grow up Yeah Right, I'm gonna take my time My ideas always blow up I'm gonna fight this fucked up structured way of life I gotta be twice my age in these young years of my prime as I'm now at that age where I've got to prove That I'm as good as I NEVER WAS As good as I NEVER WAS... To be a boring everyday conformist Never once seemed all that fun to me The government wants me on their death list Fuck the armed forces I'm drinking Dos Equis Don't wanna be a Henry Rollins Rock Star , a cop or lawyer cuz I'm now at the age where I've got to prove That I'm as good as I NEVER WAS As good as I NEVER WAS... It's time for me to prove something But I don't know what...
