Songtext von American Girls

Heard the song about those California girls I knew every line That was me back in '65 One thing on my mind I'm older, can see wiser now This passion's grown with time Even now in the light of experience Nothing's ever gonna change my mind Don't know what it is makes me feel this way I don't really care Give me another Miss America There's nothing can compare With those American girls Tearing at my heart All American girls Where do I start I love American girls They're always on my mind Gimme an American girl All of the time I'm going coast to coast East to West I'm never gonna settle for the best of the rest Gimme an American girl Got my ticket now I'm on my way Time to make my move Destination USA I'm gonna find a place in that New York groove Blind faith won't let me down It's taking me all the way The city lights are getting closer now They're telling me to stay With those American girls Tearing at my heart All American girls Where do I start I love American girls They're always on my mind Gimme an American girl All of the time I'm going coast to coast East to West I'm never gonna settle for the best of the rest American girls All those American girls Tearing at my heart All American girls Where do I start I love American girls They're always on my mind Gimme an American girl All of the time
