Songtext von White Orchid

Wake me up when the shadow's gone Everything starts from the dawn When I've lost all the doubt I had I saw the seeds lying on the sand A white orchid in my hand I didn't save what the tide washed out 'Cause I never wanted to come down When I was flying over the sun But you couldn't hear me through Though I was screaming out my lungs And even if it was all true That it wasn't what you had in your mind Sometimes I would like to forget Wake me up when the time is right When you're old and I'm paralyzed And we're done to let the credits roll I saw the great big pyramid scheme Burn the orchid in my dream And I ain't waiting for the tide to change 'Cause I never wanted to come down When I was flying over the sun But you couldn't hear me through Though I was screaming out my lungs And even if it was all true That it wasn't what you had in your mind Sometimes I would like to forget
