Songtext von Streetlight Murder

On the edge of city boulevard You'll find a lonely streetlight It stands twinkling in the night I'd like to put it out. You'll find it walking southward It will be shinning bright That annoying twinkling light I'd like to put it out. I hate freaking light I hate the summer glare They miss the calm of darkness And the chill of cold night air. Our kids will never see the stars For all the background light So come and join my struggle Come and join my fight Lets make eternal night. When my years were fewer My future seemed so bright But now it's just the fight I'd like to put it out. I don't care about a reason Don't need a cause that's right All I need to know the light Is gonna be put out.
