Songtext von October 20th

I couldn't speak, my hands were cold They were shaking cold I saw your eyes begin to glow They started to glow We were standing by the Ferris wheel lights You were laughing loud Then the music slowed It felt like time just froze And I didn't wanna waste one more night So I reached inside my coat Held the ring in my hand In the palm of my hand I said: Stay with me every day Till we're growing old Till the lights burn low I said: Stay with me every day Under carnival lights You were crying I said: Stay with me every day And you couldn't reply You were smiling You were crying You kept saying you couldn't believe it You kept saying this was everything you hoped for Everything you hoped for
