Songtext von Emerald Sun

Dawn drove the black from the shadows Deep in the heart of the world Restless, the forest winds were sighing A lonely cry in the morn There he was, sat against a willow His eyes as green as the leaves My breath froze inside my chest He offered his hand to me And he said: Here I am Don't cry It's over now Take my hand You're safe with me Here in the light Of the emerald sun There is a dream In the palm of your hand Let go of the past That lives on in your heart Move into the light I'm waiting for you He took me to a pool of water A mirror straight to the soul I gazed so long at my reflection Like a child so deeply enthralled He taught me I was someone special His words, they set me free A feeling that never runs dry Awoke inside me And he said: Don't look back Have some faith We'll find the way Take my hand I'll catch you if you fall Here in the light Of the emerald sun There is a dream In the palm of your hand Let go of the past That lives on in your heart Move into the light I'm waiting for you Here in the light Of the emerald sun There is a dream In the palm of your hand So open your heart And open your mind And move into the light I'm waiting for you I'm waiting for you
