Songtext von Better Me

You were so numb I was indifferent Told me you found Somebody who listens Good for you both I think I'll go Back to the place where everything started Scroll through the names for a love to get lost in Good for one night I think I'll try To feel like I felt yesterday Make my world a better place I'll throw myself in therapy I'll meet you as a better me I'll move a thousand miles away And learn from every dumb mistake And when I see you finally I'll meet you as a better me We were so young You taught me what love is I moved you in to my tiny apartment No one told us Slow down don't rush I let you down when it really mattered I dropped the ball but you let it shatter I'll let you go Somehow I'll grow To feel like I felt yesterday Make my world a better place I'll throw myself in therapy I'll meet you as a better me I'll move a thousand miles away And learn from every dumb mistake And when I see you finally I'll meet you as a better me
