Songtext von Look At Me Now

This is a different story I've turned another page My hands are weaker And my eyes are showing age I never wanted much from life Only what was real But real is something the mind creates And the heart believes Don't promise me anything I cannot believe Because I once did And look at me now I followed you so far down I still can't get out I see my face in the mirror But I don't recognize my thoughts I lived on your lies for so long I became so cynical I wrote twenty fucked up songs About trust, love and hope Don't promise me anything I cannot believe Because I once did And look at me now This is no love story Just the opposite you see It's about how the promise of it Blinded me
