I was a kid, I was supposed to go to school Get the best grades you ll find success That's what my old man used to say But no one told me that my life would suck like this My momma told me always to be at home at six Wasn't allowed to ever be the second best I picked the books over the chicks But no one told me that my life would suck like this When I was young I thought that I d defuse a bomb Save human kind from the worst atomic blast And I would find a cure for AIDS But no one told me that my life would suck like this Today I find I m justa bump at 51 And if I died here maybe no one even cares I feel so lonely, never got no wife and kids Why no one told me that my life woould suck like this
