Songtext von Lovesick Romeo

Do you remember our first kiss It was cosmic and bliss, it was mystic I remember the way that it tasted You said I was your favorite And true, we were a little bit faded But we didn't stop, we kept on dating Till you said your heart had to started change And that we maybe needed separating Say what! Away I go searching for the end of the rainbow Someone keeps moving the pot of gold Feels like I'm chasing my shadow I'm a lovesick Romeo Someone's not getting the memo Cupid must've run out of arrows Feels like I'm running in slo-mo When I'd rather be closer to you I was devastated How could a friendship become so complicated? Always the love that you gave me was reciprocated Always appreciated Then I was knocked down in just one blow When you bowed out you tied my shoes together When I thought that you and I would be forever I ran off to follow you but tripped And couldn't follow through I know now that no means no Away I go searching for the end of the rainbow Someone keeps moving the pot of gold Feels like I'm chasing my shadow I'm a lovesick Romeo Someone's not getting the memo Cupid must've run out of arrows Feels like I'm running in slo-mo When I'd rather be closer to you That's right And still after all this waiting All that's changing is how I want you more Nothing's fading, I'm still hanging on To you To you To you Away I go searching for the end of the rainbow Someone keeps moving the pot of gold Feels like I'm chasing my shadow I'm a lovesick Romeo Someone's not getting the memo Cupid must've run out of arrows Feels like I'm running in slo-mo I'm a lovesick Romeo Holding on to a heart of gold They say if you love it You should let it go Parting is such sweet sorrow Yes I'd rather be closer to you
