Songtext von This Version (The View Theme)

Lookin' in the mirror, didn't know who I should be Tried on a hundred faces just to see which one was me And I, and I Couldn't find me But I finally put the pieces all together All the broken glass somehow is the mosaic I am now And this feeling got me feelin' so much better I love, I love, I love I love this version of me This version of me, strong and powerful I'll say what I mean, brave and beautiful Oh, I love, oh, I love I love this version of me, oh I love the view I see Wasting all my time just tryna be somebody else Now I know it's got to be, you've got to be yourself No, it's not easy, but it's good to be me And I'm perfectly okay not bein' perfect I know sometimes I'm a mess, but it's my flaws I love the best I got all this self-respect, but damn, I earned it This version of me, strong and powerful I'll say what I think, brave and beautiful Oh, I love, I love I love this version of me (oh) I love the view I see Took a while to get here (oh-oh) I went through so many changes (oh-oh) But now that I got here I'm glad I went through all these phases 'Cause it taught me You can't stop me Oh, I love this version of me This version of me, strong and powerful (ooh) I'll say what I think, so brave and beautiful Oh, I love, I love I love this version of me, yeah (ooh) I love the view I see This version of me, strong and powerful I'll say what I think, I'm brave and beautiful Oh, I love, oh, I love I love this version of me (oh) I love the view I see
