Songtext von Ten Ton Blues

I've got the ten ton blues, the meanest blues in town, I've got the ten ton blues, the meanest blues in town, I've got the ten ton blues, those blues just weigh me down. Well, if you see me walking with my head bowed down, Well, if you see me walking with my head bowed down, It's cause those ten ton blues too heavy to carry round. Well, I'm as strong a man as you can ever find, Well, I'm as strong a man as you can ever find, But I just can't lift these troubles off my mind. I was a lightfoot man, lighthearted as can be, I was a lightfoot man, lighthearted as can be, But my baby's gone, the sun don't shine for me. The sun don't shine, the skies are dark and gray, The sun don't shine, the skies are dark and gray, It's a heavy load since my baby's gone away. Well, one of these days I'm gonna catch that 5:09, Well, one of these days I'm gonna catch that 5:09, Gonna leave this town, leave those ten ton blues behind.
