Songtext von Name And Number

My cataractic eye stares into the Sun In some melancholy garden, the rain has begun Perfume fading, mystical shading Dionysus' ritual of madness and love When your name has become a number When your name has become a number A wildness of sorrow and slumber Black sheets raining, primitive paintings I would forsake my every dream Beneath this bruised-black lemon Moon would sleep The trees are haunted by ghosts forgotten Tangle the wires that spring life to horror Rag wearing pagans that bleed at the altar Because their name has become a number March lock-step in order Guarding meaning borders When your name has become a number When your name has become a number A wildness of sorrow and slumber Black sheets raining Primitive paintings The six week taste of month old wedding cake The pristine visage of the frozen lake The tears of mothers Of lost aviators Now their name has become a number Now their name has become a number Now their name has become a number Black sheets raining, primitive paintings
