Songtext von Johnny's Last Kiss

Johnny's last kiss when he sailed away I remember it well twas just like today The months were so long but I'd prayed each night For his great return when things would be right Johnny's last kiss I remember it well [ guitar ] Then his letter came saying goodbye I read through a mist with tears in my eyes The plans that we made were secret to me all of those plans were never to be Johnny's last kiss I remember it well [ steel ] I'll try to forget the way that he lied I'll try to forget the nights that I cried Johnny's last kiss I remember it well oh Johnny's last kiss I remember it well
