Songtext von The Day It Rained (Chuva)

Rain, you gentle rain Now that you're on my windowpane Before you go, will you explain Something for me? Rain, I wonder why Today there's such a different sky It isn't raining rain It's teardrops that I see Are you sad because You know my heart no longer sings? It's like a bird trying hard to fly With broken wings Rain, my love is gone, but all the memories remain So, maybe that's why the sky is so gray You heard his goodbye when he walked away Now both of us cry, recalling the day it rained Oh, are you sad because You know my heart no longer sings? It's like a bird trying hard to fly With broken wings So, rain, my love is gone, but all the memories remain So, maybe that's why the sky is so gray You heard his goodbye when he walked away Now both of us cry, recalling the day it rained La-la, la-la La-la, the day it rained
