Songtext von Eve Of A Miracle

Standing at the water's edge But the sea hadn't parted yet Wondering if they'd ever walk into the promised land Marching as the trumpets blow All around the walls of Jericho Believing they would see them 'em fall and crumble to the sand You were always in control That was the eve of a miracle I'm not gonna worry about tomorrow 'Cause I know tomorrow's in Your hands You are the One who holds my future Even when I don't understand Over and over You've proven That there's no mountain that You cannot move So I will believe I'm on the eve of a miracle A sling in a shepherd's hand In the shadow of a giant No one thought he had a chance to make it out alive And at the tomb on the second day Oh, the stone hadn't rolled away But death was gonna have to run when that Sun would rise You were always in control That was the eve of a miracle I'm not gonna worry about tomorrow 'Cause I know tomorrow's in Your hands You are the One who holds my future Even when I don't understand Over and over You've proven That there's no mountain that You cannot move So I will believe I'm on the eve of a miracle I'm on the eve of a miracle So when the bills are coming due Or I'm scared in a waiting room Praying for an answer yet to come May the wonders that You've shown Be the reason for my hope In every battle You've already won I'm not gonna worry about tomorrow 'Cause I know tomorrow's in Your hands You are the One who holds my future Even when I don't understand Over and over You've proven That there's no mountain that You cannot move So I will believe I'm on the eve of a miracle You still believe in a miracle I'm on the eve of a miracle
