Songtext von King Kong

You'll always be around to let me down You'll always be around to let me down I've been running 'round with the same old crowd for too long It's too late for me I don't feel a thing anymore, I'm a zombie I don't even bleed I'm cutting my hair, changing my name Packing my bags, moving out of state Hearing great things about the Midwest I'm gonna get blessed, God help me You'll always be around to let me down You'll always be around to let me down You'll always be around, to let me down You'll always be around to let me down Now I'm shaking, shaking in my shackles Listening to it rattle, playing me like King Kong The earth's quaking, quaking all around me But still you can surround me Praying for kingdom come I'm no gorilla, don't you trap me in a thrilla' You wanna play my Godzilla? You better bite down hard I'm cutting my hair, changing my name Packing my bags, moving out of state Cutting my hair, changing my name Packing my bags, moving out of state I'm cutting my hair, changing my name Packing my bags, moving out of state Cutting my hair, changing my name Packing my bags, moving out of state Now you're shaking, shaking in my shackles Listening to it rattle, playing me like King Kong You'll always be around to let me down You'll always be around to let me down You'll always be around to let me down You'll always be around to let me down
