Songtext von The Illusion Mysteries

It was May Day in Arcadia Everyone was there Knocking back a sticky wine Music in the air Night caught in the trees And the moonbeams safely under my thumb Right down by the river Its unmade bed come to be undone Yeah, you should have seen us Yeah, you should have been there It was payday in Illyria I think you know the deal I was so touched by your concern At least that's how I feel So drink, drink up a little Stories remind me of some other time Think, think up a little Something for the glorious summertime Should have seen us Yeah, should have been there Well it was Thursday in Bohemia The contract had been signed 50% guaranteed, or something A good swift kick behind Fly, the sky is your friend And its holding you up again and again High over the night Where I labour and write this song once over again Should have seen us Yeah, should have been there Well, it was May Day in Arcadia Everyone was there Knocking back a sticky wine And music in the air
