Songtext von The Rockstar

Posters peeling on the wall Plastic trophy on the drawer Hairbrush mic I call the crowd One Two Three I'm louder now Curtain's just my bedroom door Still I'm hearing people roar Heart is racing Floorboard stage Kick the air I'm not afraid Rockstar in my room tonight Cheap guitar But it feels right Crowd of zero I still shine Turn it up like it's headline time Rockstar in my mirror frame Sing my lungs out Screw the shame If they see me or they don't I'm a rockstar Rockstar in my home Neighbors banging on the wall Guess they heard my curtain call Smudged eyeliner Crooked crown I'm the king of this small town Every echo in this place Feels like fire in my veins Messed-up chords and broken strings Still I fly on busted wings One day maybe there'll be lights Names and faces Endless nights But if that dream fades away I've still got this stage I've still got this stage
