Songtext von Treasure

Diamond of a rendevous on weekdays through the lunch hour Meetings in a pearl café always seem too quick somehow Second hands glitter passed minute hands And whenever we get together magic Weaves into all my plans Treasure little times that i spend with you Seems to me it’s clock trickery Where the hours go Treasure when it comes ‘cos it won’t go slow And it’s hard as we grow To measure this treasure Golden were the ocean’s sands Where our footsteps once wandered Silver was the evening moon Above us in our slumber Pirate ships sailing on pirate trips Will never find a higher bounty prize Than when i kiss your lips Second hands glitter passed minute hands And whenever we get together magic Weaves into all my plans Treasure little times that i spend with you Seems to me it’s clock trickery Where the hours go Treasure when it comes ‘cos it won’t go slow And it’s hard as we grow To measure this treasure
