Songtext von Islands

Wake up A spinning wheel seems to navigate Broke free And stole a ship that took me out to sea But I started sinking like a stone And my oceans turn to cold In the whirling pool that grows I feel my colors start to blend with the shore My yellows turn to gold Yellows turn to gold Save me All these tidal waves wont let me be So I breathe deep And dive to find myself some distant peace Because when I'm sinking like a stone And my oceans turn to cold Into this whirling pool I go To feel my colors start to blend with the shore Where yellows turn to gold Yellows turn to gold Yellows turn to gold Yellows turn to gold So take me back to when we used to run with the sun Way back when we were wild Take me back we'll find our island lost in the sea Way back when days were wild
