Songtext von Scene One: The Downward Spiral

So write this down… On the back of an old photograph It's there to hold a memory you wish to put away And write this down… On the back of an old glossary And try to find the words You wish that you could say It's hard to breathe now with the memories Of everything you could have had It started on your first intake Calm yourself down And try not to blame it all on time not spent On craving this attention So write this down… On the back of an old photograph it's there to hold a memory you wish to keep at bay And write this down… On the back of an old matchbook And circle all the words You wish to burn away Your scars will bleed now when your thinking of All the times you've felt like this And all the times you cried Calm yourself down And try not to blame it all on time not spent On not finding an answer When your told to, you follow "one more" you tell yourself but then you hit it till there's nothing left these bottle blues won't end 'til you know the difference between your pillow and the floor
