Songtext von Swans on the canal

Should it be over before it's begun Drifting away in the warmth of the sun Turning away around a curve in the stream Then disappearing through tunnels of dream Swans on the canal Drifting along like a song Taking their time in the sand Swans on the canal Quiet through reflections of stills Lonely they pass by my knee Should it be over before it's begun Drifting away in the warmth of the sun Turning away around a curve in the stream Then disappearing through tunnels of dream
