Destined to fail, I took my first breath of life No faith that guides me, nothing to strive for I carry the weight of the world And beg for redemption everyday And if my life should come to an end There’s no doubt I would be dammed So I keep struggling with the tension that is rising inside of me Denying! Defying my creed! My sanity! Neglected emotions, confined deeper within my soul I am decaying organic matter, that has lost its will to live I keep sowing sorrow, just to reap my own death Trying to thrive in this puny life of mine So I keep struggling with the tension that is rising inside of me Denying! Defying my creed! My sanity! Embracing the darkness in me Deliverance of guilt and shame Embracing the darkness in me Deliverance I felt the pain, I heard the lies, and revenge now seems hollow I suffered loss, grief and defeat, but I’ll not drown in sorrow Into this black embrace, I throw myself away And let the chaos guide me, I am what I am and the strenght will never falter me again
