Golden Sky lyrics

Sometimes I wish I was a leaf Sometimes I wish I was a tall tree Sometimes I wish I was a deep sea swimmer Sometimes I wish I was a rock Sometimes I wish I was a tall corn stalk Sometimes I wish to be anything I'm not We must not lose sight We must not lose sight Of that golden, golden sky Or the mirrors in your eyes Sometimes I wish to be your favorite vinyl The water boiling on your tea kettle These feelings move around but never, never settle Sometimes I wish to be your walking stick Sometimes I think that I don't even exist Sometimes I just want to tell you all of this We must not lose sight We must not lose sight Of that golden, golden sky Or the mirrors in your eyes Sometimes I wish I was a leaf Sometimes I wish I was a tall tree Sometimes I wish I was a deep sea swimmer We must not lose sight We must not lose sight Of that golden, golden sky Or the mirrors in your eyes
