womb lyrics

Stars in your stomach The horns all howl for you Where you bleed into the old beast There I will wait for you When I'm swallowed by it’s gaping maw Your final breath will be my empty tomb And if the prayers I say go unheard Will you reject that failure? Will you reign vengeance down on dead saints? Harvest their bones at a lonely heaven's gate The horn howls for you Flesh sundered from its home Gutted at the foot of God I knew your love in the womb While the vultures hung in waiting I felt us crash like cars In the wither of the cosmos I feel you haunt my stars Waiting For a womb like ours The horn howls for you Flesh sundered from its home Gutted at the foot of God I knew your love in the womb March in to the fires of Bethlehem Hands clenched as the weapon of my revenge A soul ripped from the coils of this mortal plane Far before me but I can still feel the pain I can’t wait to die
