Melissa Kissed The Sky lyrics

These are the fields where broken hearts descend I'm staring at the ground and yearn for sleep Elusive will thou be until the end In sullen dreams to thee I always creep These are the lonely souls which words deceive With season's change emotions fade away Godlike tongues are unchained in a lover's grief Summery blooms at night matched with decay Melissa kissed the sky, shrouded in blue The weeping of the willows, don't you hear? Melissa breathed goodbye, she's breaking through For thee I'll sleep eternally, my dear! These are the waves for sunken smiles to drown A lake of flowers covers my dead me Of bloody roses I build myself a crown As I struggle with the waters of the sea
