When I was born They used to treat me like a king on the tron They put a golden spoon in my hand And a heavy crown on my head Singing song for my sweet dream Oh what a wonder child I should have been But my blood was running hot And my mind was running wild I wasn't listening to them at all I didn't wanna be somebody's doll Then things got turning upside down When I start singing and rocking around My life is rock'n'roll It's comming straight out of my soul I'm just singing my song My life is rock'n'roll No hate, no fear, no fight Just love in my life I'm like Robin Hood Taking from reach and giving to poor That's why they call me a little rebel And I want every kid to be like you and me My life is rock'n'roll It's comming straight out of my soul I'm just singing my song My life is rock'n'roll
