Original lyrics
ENVerse 1:
Superman, alias Clark Kent,
flys so high up in the sky.
Always heard about the King of the sea,
who traveled about the ocean deep.
. But there is a name I do recall,
the greatest hero of them all;
He holds the world in the palm of His hands,
the universe at His command.
Chorus 1:
Oh, He is my hero
(He'll love your hurt away)
Oh, He is my hero
(if He can't do it nobody can).
But Jesus Christ, controls the sea,
the elements, both you and me;
He hold the world in the palm of His hands,
the universe at His command.
Chorus 2:
Oh, He is my hero
(Shelter in the time of my storms)
Oh, He is my hero
(if He can't do it nobody can).
Vamp 1:
It's not a bird, it's not a plane,
it's just my superman, Jesus is His name.
Faster than a train upon a track,
can come from heaven to my rescue and go right back.
Vamp 2:
My superman,
My hero.
