Original lyrics
ENThere's a pretty little girl in my hometown
I tried to kiss her but she turned me down
Tried to hug her but her answer was the same
She's got blue eyes and the beauty spot
I called her just to date her but she touched me not
Her name is Mary Claire Melvina Rebecca Jane
What's her name what's her name
Her name is Mary Claire Melvina Rebecca Jane
(Her name is Mary Claire Melvina Rebecca Jane)
[ banjo ]
She's the cutiest little girl I ever saw in my life
I hope someday she'll be my wife
I'm gonna ask her to let me change her name
She got blue eyes and the beauty spot...
[ banjo ]
What's her name what's her name...
