Looking for a shooting star (Looking for a shooting star) Looking for a shooting star (Looking for a shooting star) Desperation made me ask my friends Where I was going wrong They said don't you worry, just be patient Someday love will come along Here alone in my room Gazing up at the shining moon Praying for the shooting star So I can wish a dream come true Drinks and dinner dates and going back to his place Is okay for now Sure enough he calls to break it off It wasn't working anyhow So I'm looking for a new love A lasting love affair with someone who cares Shooting star Let me wish love finds me here Shooting star Here alone in my room Gazing up at the shining moon Praying for the shooting star So I can wish a dream come true Tonight I'm looking for a shooting star Tonight I'm looking for a shooting star Tonight I'm looking for a shooting star Tonight I'm looking for a shooting star
