Original lyrics
ENForgive us Lord
For all that we've squandered and lost
Blind in our sin we've turned from You
And forsaken Your ways
Restore us O God
Remember not our prideful thoughts
Forget our disobedience
In Your mercy look upon us
In Your mercy look upon us Lord
Hear our cry to You
With penitent and contrite hearts
We confess to You
That we have wronged You
And grieved Your Spirit
Hear our cry to You
O faithful Father come and heal us
Humble us Lord
Teach us to follow all Your ways
All You have asked us to obey
And write on our hearts
Empower us O God
To be those that give so selflessly
The mercy we ourselves receive
Send us out in the power of Your Spirit
Send us out in the power of Your Spirit Lord
